TONI Smallwood gamed in 21 arrows as Ox fought back to beat visitors Leeman in the York John Smith's Ladies Darts League.

Louise Warren had put Leeman ahead but Smallwood's performance win inspired her team as Tracey Watkinson, Anne Bass, Danni Laycock and Sandra Bruce sealed match points.

Warren/Julie Oliver combined to stop the rot before Ox won the remaining legs for a 7-2 result.

Marj Pearson and Caroline Whittaker set Burnholme off against visitors Edinburgh before Julie Stables (25) and Amanda Bevan replied.

However, sisters Jane and Sarah Jackson restored the advantage before Pearson/Whittaker combined to seal match points. Stables/Chris Lamb reduced the margin before Jackson/Jean West added a point.

Ann Anderson/Ellen Platt snatched victory for Marcia at Severus 'A' after colleagues Sallie Richardson/Di Moreland had levelled to set up the decider.

Marcia captain Faye Hawksby hit 125 and 100 as she won the opening game against visitors Fulfordgate whose Lynn Thompson, Michelle Britton (140, 100) and Muriel Britton replied.

Barbara Russell and Anne Cornthwaite sent the teams into the pairs all square where Hawksby and mother Sue Smith edged the tie Marcia's way.

However, Muriel Britton/Jill Reed set up the decider which saw another mother-daughter combination, Dawn and Alex Exton, snatch victory for ‘Gate.
