FIGHTERS from the York Amateur Boxing Club enjoyed a clean sweep of victories during a 12-bout card at Tramways Club.
All seven of the York fighters won their bouts including juniors Tommy Naismith, Connor Rushton, and Johnny Bamber.
In the seniors, middleweight James Cooper beat Hull's Dave Chadwick and heavyweight Lukas Caputa extended his unbeaten record with a unanimous points victory over Barnsley's Stephen Harford.
Welterweight Ollie Ward scored a first round TKO against Rikki Webster from Sheffield and lightweight Cam Shaw extended his unbeaten run with a victory over Manchester's Guy Fowke.
Both Shaw and Ward are now looking to end the season in style as they head to the Haringey Box Cup, Europe’s largest amateur boxing event which takes place at London's Alexandra Palace, June 16-18.
Naismith, meanwhile, beat Darlington's Joe Baily at 45kg, Rushton beat Alfie Gates of Spartans Manchester at 50kg, and Bamber beat Bradley McGarry, also of Spartans, at 65kg.
Will Harrison of Jorvik Amateur Boxing Club beat Jake Davidson of Laces Boxing Club in Sheffield.
