MALTON & Norton Golf Club ace Simon Dyson is hoping to continue on an upward curve today at the Joburg Open in South Africa.
York-born Dyson, whose last two years have been ruined by wrist injury issues, wants to build on an encouraging performance at the Omega Desert Classic where he finished joint-49th and enjoyed his best European Tour return for three years.
He has not played competitively for two weeks but is among a field of 210 players for today's first round at the Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club - the largest field of the 2017 season on the tour.
