THE semi-final places in the White Rose Ladies Darts League's doubles competition are now known.

Holgate have two pairs represented in CJ Fairclough and P Hurst, and L Moore and A Hurst, and they will be joined by Acomb Sports' A Bryszkigski and A Tute and New Earswick Bowls' J Curry and C Trangni.

The ties will be drawn and played on February 21, to be followed by the singles.

The finalists in the triples, meanwhile, are Lord Nelson's J Cuss, A Black and D Jones, and Holgate's A Hurst, P Hurst and L Moore.

All the finals - singles, doubles and triples - will be played on April 25.

Meanwhile, Wendy Storr checked out on 107 (treble 20, 15, double 16) to keep Severus ‘B’ at the top of division two in York John Smith's Ladies Darts League.

The club side were level at 3-3 at Burton Stone who had stayed in contention thanks to Linda Embleton, Sandra Pallister, and Sheila Harrison.

However, a clean sweep in the pairs ensured Severus took home match points with Sharon Mountain/Sue Gillon sealing victory and Dot Sellars/Michelle Kelly adding to their tally.

With both teams a player short, Clifton's match against Shoulder ‘B’ ended in a draw. The Turgoose 'clan' - mother Alice and daughters Cris and Linda - won in the singles with Margaret Forth, Jackie Young replying.

Angela Fletcher won a lone hand pairs to give the home team the advantage, however Sandra Flintoft/Kirsty Limbert narrowed the margin before Young levelled the match.

Severus 'A' still have their 'B' team in their sights and were tied at 3-3 after the singles against visitors Nags.

Anita Adams, Sue Tate, and Ann Parkyn won for Nags while Steph Barker, Glynnis Simpson and Davina Shannon levelled.

Jackie Simpson/Carol Robson and colleagues Sheila Elliott/Mavis Gallimore secured match points for Severus.

Saddle broke their duck as captain Doreen England, Sharon Lyons, Kath Powell and Sharon Nelson gave them a 4-2 advantage entering the pairs against visitors Leeman 'A'.

Margaret Yeomans/Dawn Clarke narrowed the gap before colleagues Janet and Debbie Witts won to set up the decider which saw Lyons/Nelson snatching match points.

In Division One, Marj Pearson inspired Burnholme as she checked out on a bull-ninety finish to send them into the pairs all square against visitors Edinburgh whose captain Chris Lamb led from the front.

Julie Stables and Anthea Jamieson backed up the captain, Sharon Neads/Caroline Whittaker edged the clubside in front before Pearson/Lynne Willstrop sealed victory.

Leaders Fulfordgate were too strong for Leeman 'B' whose captain Heather Bulmer won the opening leg.

However, the wheels fell off and Muriel Britton kick-started the deluge. Michelle Britton gamed in 25 darts.

Bev Harton, Tracey Farmeary, and Tina Platt scored for Tramways at Shoulder 'A'. Danni Laycock, Sue Tate and Anne Bass replied before Tracey Farmeary and daughter Natalie gave Tramways the edge and Harton/Platt victory.

Marcia were gifted the points this week as Bootham were unable to field a team.
