FORMER Terrington Hall School pupil Cameron Keanurico has been called up to the England Academies under-17s Rugby Development Squad.
Keanurico, who was head boy during his time as a Terringtonian (pictured), is now an academy player at Newcastle Falcons.
He is hoping to win a place in the England under-17 team to play France on April 22.
Meanwhile, Becky Glen – another former pupil at Terrington Hall – has been selected for the preliminary Scotland cricket squad for February’s World Cup qualifying tournament in Sri Lanka.
Adam Reid, who is currently studying in Year Eight, has been chosen for the North East Independent Schools Football Association under-13 squad.
Reid was selected following trials at Durham School. The squad will be representing the North East at the independent schools’ ‘Festival of Football’ at Shrewsbury School in April.
