Lucy Hadaway
CITY of York Athletic Club starlet Lucy Hadaway has received her second England call-up this year.
The Manor CE Academy student will represent England schools at the combined events SIAB Home International in Dublin, part of a four-strong team in her category.
They set off for Ireland on Friday and will compete against teams from Scotland, Wales and Ireland on Saturday at the AIT International Arena.
The track and field events include 60-metre hurdles, 200m, long jump, shot putt, high jump and 800m, for under-16s and over-16s boys and girls.
Hadaway's England debut, in the Schools International at Ashford in July, brought a long jump gold medal thanks to a leap of 6.00 metres.
