Castle Howard Ox ‘B’ gave visitors Burnholme a good fight, with Sandra Bruce gaming in 24 darts.

The teams entered the pairs all square, Sharon Neads-Sarah Jackson and Marj Pearson-Jane Dobson giving Burnholme the win before Anne Bass-Wendy Shortle narrowed margin.

Division two leaders Priory had Di Moreland, Pat Cairns, Babs Harrison and Clair Cooper starring against second-placed Severus ‘A’.

Glyniss Simpson and Steph Barker narrowed the gap but Cooper-Harrison combined to secure match points.

Nags Head are on the tails of the frontrunners after coming from behind against Castle Howard Ox 'A'.

Caz and Nikki Johnson gave visitors Ox the advantage, but captain Hannah Smith, Elaine Metcalfe, Ann Parkyn, Anita Adams and Parkyn-Doreen Johnstone replied.
