JO HODGES included scores of 140, 103 and 100 as she helped steer Tramways 'A' to a 6-3 victory over Severus 'B' in York John Smith's Ladies Darts League division one.

After Angie Kaya and Sue Gillon kept visitors Severus in touch, Hodges had colleagues Jan Wilberham, Ruth Norman and the ever dependable Carole Layne giving them the upper hand. Wilberham and Judy Hall sealed the victory.

Amanda Britton included a maximum in a 22 dart game as Fulfordgate kept up their pursuit of the top honours with a 7-2 victory. Hosts Edinburgh had Donna Lynes winning in the single and the pairing of Chris Lamb and Anthea Jamieson doubled their tally. Muriel Britton included three ton plus scores in her wins.

Burnholme moved into second place with a 7-2 victory over Marcia 'A. Jean West was a double ton scorer for Burnholme and captain Marj Pearson closed on 120 in the pairs with Caroline Whittaker. Marcia had Di Moreland and the duo of Stacy Morris and Ellen Platt troubling the scorers.

Tramways ‘B’ were taken to the wire at Marcia ‘B’. Sisters Natalie and Lauren Farmeary snatched victory for the former, hitting double one.

Sheila Elliott, Davina Shannon, Glynnis Simpson took hosts Severus ‘A’ into the pairs all square after Anne Bass, Sandra Bruce, Denise Fowler had scored for Ox ‘B’.

Shannon and Jackie Simpson edged the club side in front before colleagues Elliott and Steph Barker secured match points.

Division two front runners Ox 'A' had Alison Walker (23) and captain Nix Johnson giving them an excellent start against Jubilee 'A' before they secured victory.

Shoulder had Anita Adams, Sue Tate, Hannah Smith, Doreen Johnstone giving them a 4-0 advantage at Jubilee 'B' despite being a player light and went on to win 6-3.

Sharon Nelson, Chris Patterson and Kath Powell set Saddle off at a gallop at Leeman, who responded through Margaret Yeomans and mother and daughter Debbie and Charlotte Witts.

The pairing of Sharon Lyons and Vicky McClaren edged the visitors in front before Dawn Clarke and Charlotte Witts set up a deciding leg which saw Nelson and Powell secure victory for Saddle.

Rose Gray was Acomb's only singles success as visitors Green Tree sealed victory with wins from Sandra Flintoft, Jackie Young, Margaret Forth, Kirsty Limbert and Alison Buckley Clifton were taken to the wire by visitors Burton - Cris Turgoose and Dorothy Barker securing match points.
