SARAH JACKSON was in ton mode for Burnholme as they wrapped up victory in the singles against Marcia ‘A’ in division one of the York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League.

Caroline Whittaker sealed match points, while Di Moreland was the only Marcia success in the singles, before partnering Pat Cairns to their other point in a 7-2 defeat.

Leaders Tramways ‘B’ won 9-2 at Castle Howard Ox ‘B’, whose Sandra Bruce and Flossy Crampton got on the scoreboard.

Jan Netherwood opened the scoring for Edinburgh, but Fulfordgate hit back to win 6-3.

Jill Reed, Dawn Exton, Muriel Britton and Michelle Britton won for Gate before Emma Frankland narrowed the gap.

Michelle Britton and Exton secured the win and Anne Bass and Lynn Thompson added an extra point.

Angie Kaya won the opening leg for Severus ‘B’ against their ‘A’ team, but the senior ranks surged back with Steph Barker starting a five-match winning run which saw Sue Clark seal victory.

Caz Johnson combined with Linda Staveley to secure match points for Castle Howard Ox ‘A’ at Tramways ‘A’.

Division two leaders Bootham Conservative Club were 6-3 winners at home to Leeman.

Julia Hagyard, Jackie Clemit, Jane Barnes and Kate Barnes gave them a 4-2 lead, with Margaret Yeomans and Dawn Clarke responding for Leeman.

Jane Barnes and Dot Trousdale sealed victory before Yeomans and Jackie Gray added a point to the visitors’ tally. Kate Barnes and Jackie Church rounded off the win.

Vicki Capes and Louise Warren gave Jubilee ‘A’ a 2-0 lead against their ‘B’ team, but the second string hit back to win 6-3.

Rosie Hattee, Tracey Scurr, Catherine Johns and Chris Peebles replied.

Warren and Brenda Dawe narrowed the gap before ‘B’ team captain Maggie Bedingham and Anne Allinson secured match points. Hattee and Eileen Haw added to their tally.

Shoulder’s Doreen Johnstone won the opener at Saddle, but then the wheels came off as they lost 7-2 after Vicky McClaren started a seven-game winning streak for the hosts.
