SELBY Cochranes angler Trevor Golton was the winner of round two in the York Tackle Winter League.

Golton’s 7lb haul on the River Ouse below York included a bream and 15 roach. He was drawn at the concrete block at the bottom of the pumper.

Second place went to Tim Harrison, of Anglers World, with a 4lb 7oz all roach net, while his team-mate Stan Hague took third place with 3lb 8oz, made up of one perch and the remainder roach.

Kev Smith was fourth with 2lb 10oz and Dave Hardy fifth 2lb 3oz.

The winning team were Anglers World, with Cochranes second.

There is a spare team available this year for anyone interested in fishing the odd match.
