YORK City’s Football Foundation are inviting young footballers, aged between six and 11, to take part in two days of trials for the club’s Elite Centre.
They will take place on Wednesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 30 at Huntington Secondary School from 10am to 3pm with the cost £10 per day.
Coaching sessions and game-based practices will take place with the opportunity for children to win a place in the Elite Centre, which acts as a bridge between grassroots football and the Minstermen’s academy.
A total of 25 Elite Centre players were also promoted to the academy system last season.
All players will receive an email after the trials with recommendations for the individual youngsters going forward.
For more information, email cityelite.ycfc@live.co.uk, which is the same address to book a place if you would like to pay on the day of the trials.
Alternatively, cheques made payable to YCFCF, can be sent in advance to YCFC Foundation, Bootham Crescent, York, YO30 7AQ.
In both cases the following details must be included: player’s name, date of birth, current team, position, address, contact number, email address, manager’s name and contact number.
