Wolves defender George Elokobi has joined Nottingham Forest on an emergency loan and could stay at the City Ground until the end of the season.
The deal can run until April 28 - the end of the npower Championship campaign. However there is a 24-hour recall clause which can come into operation at any time after the first 28 days of the loan.
The Cameroon-defender will join Wolves team-mate Adlene Guedioura on loan at Forest.
Elokobi has made eight Barclays Premier League appearances this season, five of which have come from the substitutes' bench, and is hoping to use the loan to push for some regular football.
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy said: "This loan move gives George the chance to go out and try and get some games. We've got all of our defenders back fit now and this should give George an opportunity to play."
