Awards double for Leeds United's Robert Snodgrass

SKIPPER Robert Snodgrass has been named the club’s player of the year and the players’ player of the year.

The Scot was presented with the awards at the Whites’ annual members’ end of season dinner.

The goal of the season gong went to Adam Clayton, for his volley at Leicester in November.

The young player of the year award went to Tom Lees, ahead of fellow Academy product Aidy White. White took the Community Award for the work he has done off the field.

The chairman’s special award went to former York City assistant-boss Neil Redfearn, who guided the under-18s to a second place finish in their Academy division.

Meanwhile, defender Paul Robinson has returned to Bolton at the end of his loan spell.
