A SECOND slug of southern comfort will be the tonic Leeds United will seek at Brighton & Hove Albion tonight.
After triumphing 2-1 at Hiish Park at Yeovil in the televised game on Saturday, Leeds go to the Amex Stadium knowing a similar gritty job will have to be achieved if another three points are to be garnered.
Manager Brian McDermott, who added he was delighted to end his toughest week in management with success at Yeovil, said: “We were thinking we’d take being 1-0 down at half-time because we could turn it around in the second half.
“We knew we could score. Ross (McCormack) came up with a quality goal and Stephen Warnock used the wind to great effect to score a second.
“We showed good character and it was a good win.”
Hosts Brighton, meanwhile, have a home Yorkshire double in their sights after beating Doncaster 1-0.
