Selby Town chiefs have declared the club is “not down yet” despite another week without an NCEL premier division win.
After losing 1-0 at Flaxley Road against Staveley Miners Welfare, The Robins visit Brighouse tomorrow.
With new boss Graham Hodder having to cope with a revolving door in his brief time at the club, he has brought in James Waltham from Hall Road Rangers.
Club secretary Tommy Arkle said that, even in defeat, the “signs are good” and added: “With some winnable games coming up and renewed confidence in the set-up now at the club I feel Selby can still claw their way out of the drop zone.
“The lads showed that even when they go behind the work ethic does not alter and the only thing missing is the ability to put away chances.
“Hopefully the lucky breaks will come our way soon. We are not down yet.”
