Norton jockey Freddie Tylicki renews his association tomorrow with Mediterranean Sea as she bids to extend her love affair with Southwell.

The John Jenkins-trained mare has won on the course on each of her last three visits and goes for a notable four-timer in the FreeBetting.co.uk Handicap.

Winner of her final two starts before the turn of the year, Mediterranean Sea made a victorious reappearance last month.

Stephen Craine has been in the saddle on her latest two outings, but Tylicki rode her in the other.

Mark Johnston is aiming to strike while the iron is hot with Colour Guard in the Get Live Football Scores At footballscores.com Handicap.

The four-year-old has won two of his three starts this year and last week’s success on this course was gained in an apprentices’ race, for which he gets no penalty tomorrow.

He promises to be hard to beat under Joe Fanning.

The Hambleton partnership of Bryan Smart and Tom Eaves can land the opening honours with nap selection Fearless Poet (2.10). The four-year-old, a Kempton winner in January, has been in good form since the turn of the year and was a close up fourth at Lingfield last time out.

Brawby trainer Geoff Oldroyd has sound prospects of lifting the Southwell Racecourse For Conferences Handicap with Bond Blade, the mount of Dale Swift.

The four-year-old was a winner on this course last autumn and finished third to Prince Of Vasa here last month on his return to action for the first time this year.

The speedy Dancing Freddy (2.40), narrowly beaten at Wolverhampton recently, and the evergreen course winner Mustajed (4.10) are two others to note.

At Lingfield this afternoon, Munsarim is fancied to extend his winning sequence this year to four in the Great Offers On Golf Membership Claiming Stakes.

Trained in Scotland by Keith Dalgleish and the mount of Fanning, the five-year-old has twice won at Wolverhampton and once here in claiming company.

He is the highest-rated horse in today’s contest and is in such excellent heart that he promises to be hard to beat yet again.

Fanning, riding winners galore this winter, can also hit the target aboard Quiet Appeal in the Breathe Spa At Lingfield Marriott Handicap.

The step up to today’s distance of a mile-and-a-half suited Johnston’s filly perfectly at Wolverhampton in January when she ran out a convincing winner. She’s 8lb higher this time, but is still on a handy low weight.

Mambo Spirit is napped to get back in the winning groove in the Summer Evenings At Lingfeld Park Claiming Stakes.

The Tony Newcombe-trained eight-year-old shaped with promise on his recent return to action when finishing second at Kempton over seven furlongs.

The return to six furlongs this afternoon will not trouble him in the slightest and he is fancied to score for Dane O’Neill.
