THE Bilsdale point-to-point takes place at Rising Sun Farm, Easingwold, tomorrow.

The event will start with a new Bilsdale Air Ambulance Donkey Derby at 1pm, before the main action begins at 2pm.

A total of 94 entries have been received for the seven races.

The opening race is the Hunt Members and it looks fairly straightforward on form for Stagecoach Jasper, who has a quirky attitsude but ran much better last time where he chased home Matt's Commission at Witton Castle.

The second race is a Conditions race for horses who have not won under rules or won any Open races since 2015.

Prince Of Pirates, Zandino, The Mobile Man, Refusal, who has won both his races this season including here last time, and Rockmount Rocker, who won his restricted here last time, are thought to have chances.

The Men's Open looks competitive with the leading contender possibly being Ardea, who was third last time behind One Conemara at Bedale and is a decent hunter chase performer in his prime. He carries a penalty here, though, and this sharp track may not suit him.

The Ladies' Open appears to have three main hopefuls - the prolific Knocklong, who has scored his last three races, multiple winner Lough Inch, and Six A Side.

The Restricted looks open to several runners of this race in the previous meeting - Inishturk Lad, Aldergale and Wild Murphy could reoppose. The Sweetner is running well too and this sharp track will suit.

The final race, the Open Maiden, has been divided.

Division one has numerous horses with chances, In Her Own Time perhaps the pick, while Mr Baresi is a decent selection in division two.

Admission for the day is £10 for adults and free for under-16s.
