JOHN DAWSON continued his fine form in the saddle as he secured a hat-trick of wins at the Sinnington Hunt's point-to-point meeting.

Will Easterby also notched a double on the scoresheet on a dry, sunny day at Duncombe Park, Helmsley.

Dawson started his run of victories aboard Dance of Time in the Confined Hunts race.

He waited in the rear before making steady headway to beat long-time leader Wizadora, ridden by Jack Andrews.

His good form continued in both divisions of the Open Maiden, partnering Ancient Empire - trained by Dawson himself - in division one and Snow Castle in the second.

Easterby was runner-up in both with Bite the Biscuit and promising nine-year-old debutant Mr Pepperpot, but claimed victory in the Hunt Members race aboard Soleil d'Avril.

He completed his double in the Mixed Open with Greensalt, who bounced back to his best after finishing third on his reappearance at Sheriff Hutton. The pair were always to the fore and stayed on strongly for an easy victory.

Point-to-point trainer Justin Landy seems to have the Midas touch with his horses currently, and he took the Restricted race with impressive maiden winner Ballinahow Bill ridden by Dale Peters deputising for the injured Lottie Crane.

The Novice riders' race also gave Peters a winner as a trainer with You Too Pet. The pair were restrained well in the rear until making smooth headway three out.
