BRETONCELLES has the right profile to cut loose at Sandown's evening meeting.

Trainer Harry Dunlop thought enough of this filly to be considering her for Classic trials earlier on in the year, so the Cappagh Life After Racing Handicap should hopefully be well within her compass.

The three-year-old has yet to strike in three outings but her lack of success ensures she starts life in this sphere off a very workable mark of 76.

Not beaten far by Ribblesdale third The Black Princess on her debut, Bretoncelles has since been placed in two all-weather maiden heats, most recently when third on her seasonal return at Lingfield at the end of May.

Stepping up to 10 furlongs that day, she handled the trip well and stays at that distance here. Martin Harley rides today's nap selection.

Hugo Palmer has made little secret of the regard in which he holds SPANISH SQUEEZE, so it is perhaps worth giving him another shot in the Diomed Development Handicap at Yarmouth this evening.

The four-year-old has certainly not been straightforward to train but his rating of 98 reflects the promise he has shown – admittedly more during last season than the current campaign, in which he has been limited to just one outing.

Sent off favourite at York in May, he failed to take a hand in the finish but, as that was just his second start on turf, it is perhaps too early to write him off entirely. Paul Hanagan is on board this time.

RED BOX, ridden by Luke Morris, is the pick in the Paul Kelleway Memorial Classified Stakes at Lingfield after a fine effort at Listed level last time.

A daughter of Sir Mark Prescott's French Oaks winner Confidential Lady, Red Box has done the Heath House handler proud so far, winning a maiden at the second attempt before chasing home Opal Tiara at Carlisle last time.

She still looked a bit green that day and this could provide a nice learning experience, with better races surely hers for the taking further along the line.

At Catterick, it would take a brave punter to oppose QUEEN KINDLY and jockey Jamie Spencer in the opening British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes.

Beaten half a length in total when third in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot, this Frankel filly – trained by Richard Fahey at his Musley Bank yard in Malton – is clearly the class act here.
