NORTH Yorkshire trainer Lawrence Mullaney, who posted his opening success of the season at Wetherby last week when FIRST SARGEANT scored in decisive style, can follow-up with the same horse at Redcar this afternoon.

The gelding galloped home with six lengths to spare on his latest outing and, as that was an apprentices' race, he escapes a penalty in the Join The Racing UK Club Handicap.

Rachel Richardson takes the mount on nap selection First Sargeant and her 5lb claim will come in handy as the five-year-old aims to complete a quick double for his Great Habton trainer, who was on the mark with proven mud-lover Jack Luey at Beverley yesterday.

WARDAT DUBAI may prove the answer to the Pinnacle Racing Syndicate Shares Available Now Handicap.

Trained by Barry Hills for Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum, the three-year-old trotted-up by four lengths at Beverley last time out in maiden company. Handicaps now come calling and Wardat Dubai surely has more to offer. Dane O'Neill travels north to take the mount.

VALENTINO OYSTER won a claimer on this course a couple of weeks ago and, having been secured by Ali Stronge, now returns for the Download Your Racing UK App Selling Stakes. He should be hard to beat at a venue that suits him so well.

Richard Fahey has some good chances on the Redcar card. AKEED CHAMPION has been frustrating so far but he has shown a decent level of ability in his three runs this season.

Back from a short break, he looks sure to go well in the Racing UK Anywhere Available Now Maiden Stakes.

Fahey also takes the wraps off a couple of nicely-bred unraced juveniles in BINT KODIAC (1.50) and DOLPHIN VISTA (2.20). Both hail from a yard with strength in depth in their two-year-old crop and deserve attention.

At Goodwood, David Brown aims to clinch the Neptune Investment Management Gordon Stakes with MEDRANO, the mount of Fergal Lynch.

The rain-softened ground will pose no problems for Medrano, who ploughed through the mud to win the Glasow Stakes by a wide margin at Hamilton on his latest start.

That was a Listed race and Medrano now steps up to Group 3 standard. He is expected to produce a spirited display and another success could well earn him a crack at the St Leger at Doncaster in September.

The brilliant SOLOW is the must-see horse on the card. The French raider, trained by Freddie Head, lines up for the Group 1 Qatar Sussex Stakes as he bids to extend his winning sequence to five this season.

Winner of Group 1 races on his last three outings, Solow's latest success came in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot. He will be a tough nut to crack in this prestigious contest.

Speed will be at a premium in the Fairmont Molecomb Stakes, which carries Group 3 status and which is the target of Fahey's Lathom, recent winner of the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury.

This, however, looks a much tougher assignment and preference is for KING OF ROOKS, the mount of Frankie Dettori.

A wide-margin winner at Newbury and Sandown, Richard Hannon's speedy colt failed by a length to beat Waterloo Bridge in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot. He can gain compensation here and return to the winning track.

Also worth noting at Goodwood are AIR SQUADRON (2.00), bidding for a four-timer, and the likewise in-form MIME DANCE (5.25), who will have the services of up-and-coming apprentice Edward Greatrex.
