RACHEL RICHARDSON, who enjoyed an afternoon to remember at York on Friday, can continue her winning run at Carlisle today.

The North Yorkshire apprentice rides Another Royal for her boss Tim Easterby, who provided her with the winning mount on Gran Canaria Queen in Friday's feature race on Knavesmire.

Not only was it Richardson's biggest career success, it was also her first York win and in the process she reduced her claim to 5lb after chalking up her 20th victory.

Another Royal is not as talented as Gran Canaria Queen, but she should be able to be firmly in the mix in the Molson Coors Handicap. With two runs under her belt this season, including a third-placed effort at Thirsk last month, Another Royal, twice a winner at Redcar last autumn, should now be cherry ripe.

This is a big week for Kevin Ryan, who heads to Royal Ascot with the likes of The Grey Gatsby, Hot Streak and Astaire bidding for major honours at the most prestigious meeting of the year.

Ryan saddles Alhella in the EBF Stallions Fillies' Handicap. Successful at Redcar on her reappearance, the three-year-old looks capable of climbing further up the ladder. She is fancied to double-up this afternoon in the hands of smart apprentice Shane Gray.

Gray can complete a double on King Of Country in the Price Boosts @bookies.com Maiden Stakes.

Trained by Charlie Appleby, the thrice-raced colt has shown enough ability to suggest he can win a minor race. This looks a good opportunity for him to break his duck before he heads down the handicap route.

Livella Fella seeks quick compensation in the opening footballscores.com Maiden Auction Stakes.

Trained by Keith Dalgleish, the juvenile failed by only a whisker to win at Pontefract last week. Provided this race does not come too quickly for her, Livella Fella can go one better under Phillip Makin.

Also worth noting at Carlisle are Echo Of Lightning (2.45pm), trained by Brian Ellison, who was celebrating a York double over the weekend, and the Mark Johnston-trained Mister Rockandroll (5.15pm), who drops down in class.

At Nottingham's evening meeting, Robin Park is napped to complete a hat-trick of wins in the Ian Storey-Moore Fillies' Handicap.

Richard Fahey's three-year-old got off the mark in good style on this course last month before following up in stronger company at Newmarket. She faces a stiffer task here, but she is plainly in rude health and with Paddy Mathers, who has ridden him in both her starts this year, back in the saddle, Robin Park can oblige again.

Antony Brittain has taken over the licence at Warthill Stables following the death of his father Mel, a prominent owner-breeder-trainer in the north for the last 30 years, whose funeral took place at York Minster last week.

Stanghow won last time out. She should go well in the Des Walker Handicap with Paul Hanagan booked to take the mount before he undertakes Royal Ascot duties for the remainder of the week.

Today's tips - Carlisle: 2-15 Livella Fella, 2-45 Another Royal, 3-15 Echo Of Lightning, 3-45 Alhella, 4-15 Tectonic, 4-45 King Of Country, 5-15 Mister Rockandroll. Nottingham: 6-10 Ahdaf, 6-40 Stanghow, 7-10 Robin Park (NAP), 7-40 Hanno, 8-10 Pendo, 8-40 Iron Butterfly.
