THE Easterbys of North Yorkshire aim to be on the warpath this Bank Holiday Monday.

At Redcar, Tim Easterby, after saddling three winners on Saturday, is fancied lift the featured Zetland Gold Cup with Silvery Moon, while at Carlisle, his uncle, Mick Easterby has a fighting chance of completing a treble on the card.

Silvery Moon, who has course-winning form at Redcar, will be partnered by David Allan in the Racing UK Anywhere-sponsored showpiece event, which has £26,500 in prize money.

Although yet to get off the mark this season, Silvery Moon has been running respectably and was beaten by less than four lengths into sixth place by Mahsoob in a hot race at York a couple of weeks ago.

A creditable third to Cashpoint in this race last year, Silvery Moon runs off an identical mark today and is fancied to lift the prize.

Pippin Street may prove the solution to the opening Up The Boro At Wembley Maiden Auction Stakes.

Richard Fahey's juvenile finished second to stablemate Hold Grail at Ripon on her debut when she failed by a length and a half after being disadvantaged by a wide draw. She can compensation under Paddy Mathers.

Paul Mulrennan is enjoying a fine time of things this season and the North Yorkshire jockey can complete a Redcar double on Shootingsta and Tower Power.

The Watch Racing UK Today Just £10 Median Auction Maiden Stakes is the target for Shootingsta, trained by Bryan Smart, who showed a useful level of ability and consistency last season. Her winning turn can surely not be delayed much longer.

Tower Power, trained at Newmarket by Ismail Mohammed, goes for the Market Cross Jewellers Handicap.

The four-year-old, successful last season at Ripon and Doncaster, should have benefited from his comeback outing at Nottingham on unfavourably soft ground. He has been dropped 2lb for that unplaced effort and with ground conditions in his favour this time, Tower Power should leave his Nottingham form well behind. He carries the nap vote.

At Carlisle, evergreen veteran Mick Easterby has winning chances with Can You Conga, Old Man Clegg and Warlu Way.

The booking of Paul Hanagan for Can You Conga in the ApolloBet Home Of The Cashback Specials Handicap looks significant.

The five-year-old will also be wearing blinkers for the first time. If he can reproduce anything like his best form, he will surely take all the beating.

Graham Lee has been booked to partner Old Man Clegg in the ApolloBet Horse Racing Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap.

The gelding was slightly disappointing at Catterick last time on soft ground, but he had previously finished second at Newcastle and Thirsk. He is not to be overlooked with Lee riding him for the first time.

Warlu Way, the mount of Tom Eaves, goes for the ApolloBet £50 Sign-Up Bonus Handicap, is a previous course and distance winner. He finished fourth at Newcastle last time which suggested he is returning to to top form.

This longer distance is in his favour and he should go well in the concluding race on the Cumbrian card.
