ARTHURS SECRET, who came home in splendid isolation on his latest outing at Musselburgh, bids to follow up a little closer to home this afternoon.

The gelding, trained at Norton by John Quinn, travels to Wetherby for the Bet With Your Racing UK App Handicap Hurdle.

A successful handicapper on the Flat, Arthurs Secret has taken nicely to hurdles and won by 23 lengths last time after filling the runner-up position on his previous two starts.

He now tackles handicap company for the first time off a mark of 120 and has top weight of 11st 12lb to carry. He is fancied to prove hard to beat under James Reveley.

Neil Mulholland, who celebrated his first Cheltenham Festival success last week when The Druids Nephew, now on course for next month’s Crabbie’s Grand National, scored under Barry Geraghty, saddles Carole’s Destrier in the featured Download Your Racing UK App Novices’ Chase, which has attracted only three runners.

A useful horse, the seven-year-old beat Clondaw Knight by eight lengths at Ascot a month ago. He looks sure to take all the beating in this staying contest.

Lord Brendy may prove the solution to the Flat Racing Coming Soon - 26th April Handicap Chase.

Bob Johnson’s seven-year-old has been running consistently well and finished a creditable second to Achimota at Doncaster on his latest outing. He can now go one better.

The Wetherby Family Funday - Sunday 26th April National Hunt Flat Race is a tricky-looking race to solve.

Welsh Shadow, trained by Dan Skelton, looks an interesting newcomer, as does Younevercall, trained by Tom Lacey and a son of Yeats. Lacey won with a newcomer by the same sire at Southwell recently and it is interesting that he has booked Sam Twiston-Davies to take the mount.

At Southwell, Colourbearer returns to the scene of his latest victory when he provided his trainer Charlie Wallis with his first success since taking out a licence at the end of January.

The eight-year-old has been raised 5lb for his recent win, but there may be more to come from him. He should not be left out of the reckoning in the Daily Price Boosts At Unibet Handicap over six furlongs. Ben Curtis again has the mount.

Pabusar is napped to turn the tables on Harwoods Star in the opening Unibet Jockey/Trainer Specials Handicap. Harwoods Star had half-a-length to spare over Pabusar here last week, but a 7lb penalty shifts the balance now and Pabusar, the mount of Shirley Teasdale, is selected to gain his revenge.

Norton jockey Tom Eaves should be involved in the shake-up of the Unibet Handicap over five furlongs on You’re Cool, trained by James Given.

The sprinter has won both his starts since the turn of the year, at Wolverhampton and Kempton.

A hat-trick could well be on the cards, provided You’re Cool handles this slower surface.
