TOTO SKYLLACHY, who bounded home with six lengths to spare on his latest visit to Southwell last week, returns to the Fibresand circuit today with good prospects of landing a milestone success.

The well-travelled North Yorkshire gelding is on the threshold of his twelfth career victory in a career which has embraced 69 races.

Furthermore, he had won for Tom Tate, Jimmy O'Reilly, Ollie Pears and David O'Meara before joining his current trainer, Marjorie Fife at Stillington.

Toto Skyllachy, at the age of nine, may not be the horse he once was but he remains a potent force at a lowly level and is plainly in good form, having won two of his last three starts.

Jake Butterfield, who is attached to Ollie Pears' Norton yard, has struck up a good rapport with Toto Skyllachy. A 6lb penalty may not prevent him from obliging again this afternoon in the Ladbrokes Handicap.

In the Unibet Offer Daily Jockey Trainer Specials Handicap (division two), nap selection Poyle Vinnie makes plenty of appeal.

Trained by Michael Appleby, who trains plenty of winners on this, his local course, Poyle Vinne, twice a Pontefract winner in August, was recently a creditable second at Wolverhampton. He now has to prove he handles the switch from a Tapeta surface to Fibresand, but if he does, he will surely take plenty of beating with Alistair Rawlinson reducing his weight by a valuable 5lb.

The first division of this five furlong dash may be best left to course specialist Only Ten Per Cent.

The mount of Fergal Lynch, he was beaten little more than two lengths into sixth at Nottingham recently. It is significant that John Jenkins' charge is now returning to this venue where he has won no fewer than six times.

Mel Brittain's Brockfield (12.20), who has winning form at this track, and the consistent Zaza Zest (1.50), trained by Richard Fahey, are two others to follow on the eight-race card.

At Ludlow, Tidal Way catches the eye in the Vera Davies Novices' Limited Handicap Chase.

Although it is some time since the five-year-old won a race, he was beaten only half a length into third by Goodwood Mirage in a hot contest over hurdles at Wetherby last month. Charlie Longsdon's gelding now switches to fences and is not to be overlooked.

Taylor looks the one to be on in the Bet With The Ludlow On Course Bookmakers Mares' Maiden Hurdle.

The Nicky Henderson-trained five-year-old showed definite signs of ability and potential in two bumpers last season. She looks the type to do well over hurdles, especially in these mares' ony races.

Stars Over The Sea, twice a winner on the Flat when trained by Mark Johnston, made a bright start to his hurdling career for David Pipe at Kempton last month when winning by six lengths.

The three-year-old is opposed by one or two interesting newcomers in the Watch On 3 Devices racinguk.com/anywhere Juvenile Hurdle, but he is selected to double-up under a penalty.

Abbeygrey, who has been in tremendous form lately is earmarked to complete a hat-trick of wins in the Injured Jockeys' Fund Handicap Chase.

The five-year-old, trained by Evan Williams, has won his last two starts at Huntingdon and Newton Abbott. He can defy a further 5lb rise in his growing rating.
