BEAU EILE, runner-up in both her races to date, can make it third time lucky at Catterick this afternoon.

David Barron's speedy filly went down narrowly on her debut at Beverley and again was defeated by a slender margin at York on her latest start last month.

The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Stakes looks a good opportunity for Beau Eile to finally open her account. With Graham Gibbons in the saddle, she is napped to come out on top.

Josh Doyle rode a polished race to win on Dansili Dutch at Haydock 11 days ago. The 7lb claimer, who is apprenticed to David O'Meara, trainer of Dansili Dutch, teams up with the five-year-old again in the Visit Catterick Sunday Market Every Week Handicap.

Although she needs everything to go her way, Dansili Dutch is entitled to go well provided she can produce her best over this longer distance of a mile and a half.

The easing of the ground has been timely for Captain Scooby, who relishes some cut in the ground.

It has been some time since the eight-year-old last visited the winners' enclosure, but he stayed on strongly on ground quicker than ideal to finish fourth at Newcastle last week and is worth another chance in the Racing Again Saturday 18th October Amateur Riders' Handicap (division one). The very experienced Simon Walker is a significant jockey booking.

Sir Mark Prescott makes a habit of building up a sequence of wins with lightly-raced three-year-olds and Jolie Blonde kicked off on the right note when scoring at Bath on her belated reappearance last week.

Prescott brings out the filly again under a penalty in the Skyram Handicap (division one) and Luke Morris's mount is expected to oblige again.

Also worth noting at Catterick's bumper eight-race card are Deep Blue Sea (3.00), who got off the mark at her second attempt at Yarmouth and is now set to make her handicap bow, and Sunrise Dance (5.30), who is well drawn - and well handicapped on her best form - in the second leg of the amateur riders' sprint.

At Kempton's evening meeting, Richard Hughes and Ryan Moore, who are locked in battle in the race for the jockeys' title, both look likely to be among the winners.

Hughes is fancied to score on Jersey Jewel (5.35), who has finished a respectable runner-up at Chepstow and on this course, and Godolphin's Blue Army (6.05), who is making his handicap debut.

Moore has a cracking book of rides and it would be no surprise to see him rattle up a treble. Moore, seen to such good effect when claiming Group 1 honours on Found at Longchamp on Sunday, can score on handicap debutante Steevo (7.05), the very promising Galuppi (7.35) and recent course winner Dutch Interior (8.35).
