SCARBOROUGH Athletic will be hoping to continue their fine Easter form tomorrow when they travel to Tadcaster Albion in the Evo-Stik League North.

Athletic romped to a 5-1 home victory over Radcliffe on Saturday. James Walshaw started his side's scoring, surging through on goal to make it 1-0 after five minutes.

Radcliffe responded immediately with skipper Kingsley Williams poking in from close range.

Max Wright streaked clear to slide in to give Boro the lead again, before Michael Coulson made it 3-1.

The fourth goal came as Radcliffe keeper Connor Keane shoved Walshaw to the floor, with Coulson sending the keeper the wrong way from the penalty spot.

The win was rounded off when sub Chris Dawson let fly from the edge of the box, sending it low into the bottom corner to complete a convincing win.

Meanwhile, ninth-placed Selby Town's home clash with Campion in Northern Counties East League Division One fell foul of the weather through a waterlogged pitch.

Town host leaders Knaresborough Town in their next league fixture on Tuesday night.

Third-placed Pickering Town will hope to return to action on Wednesday night against Staveley Miners Welfare.

Town's Premier Division clash at strugglers Hall Road Rangers on Saturday was postponed.

Joint leaders Harrogate Town will hope for better luck in front of goal today when they host Blyth Spartans in Vanarama National League North at the CNG Stadium. Town will then face fifth-placed York City next Saturday.

Town had to settle for a point on Good Friday when they played out a goalless draw at Brackley Town.

Heavy rain during the game resulted in large areas of mud around the field, with one near the Brackley goalmouth contributing to a scramble, eventually cleared after good work from Jake Wright to get to the byline.

Town almost edged ahead in the 37th minute when Joe Leesley's curling effort was dropped by Danny Lewis, but the Brackley stopper recovered in time to keep out Wright's follow up.

Harrogate are top of the table on goal difference from Salford City, with both teams on 65 points.
