A SERIES of postponements meant only three games went ahead in The Fastpack Ltd York Sunday Morning League last weekend.

Division two was the only tier with games being played, as second-placed Walnut Tree travelled to Acomb to face Clockhouse – and it was the hosts who came out on top.

Two first-half goals saw Clockhouse take away three points to sit ninth in the league.

Two sides who have only won one game all season matched up in Kings Head and K Town.

Both teams were desperate to grab another victory but they were evenly matched and came away with a point each from an entertaining 3-3 draw.

Andrew Coney, Josh Braddish and Ged Christian scored for the home side, Kings Head. Jim Heels netted two goals and Seff Thompson also added one for K Town.

Haxby United travelled to Rawcliffe to face Rawcliffe United and were rewarded for their travels by picking up three points.

Tom Kilvington, Mike Fell, Harry Moorcroft and Will Plews all scored to give Haxby United a 4-2 triumph.
