WILBERFOSS Mavericks and Dringhouses remain runaway leaders at the top of the York & District FA Under-19s division one table.

Leaders Foss won 7-2 at bottom side Easingwold Town Hawks, with Dan Gibney scoring a hat-trick and Dan Harvey, Isaac Clark, Alex Zachariou and Adam Falkingham each netting.

Tom Rushworth and Sam Cottrell were on target for the hosts.

Dringhouses were 4-2 winners at home to Bishopthorpe White Rose thanks to a double from Jack Stockell and strikes from Reece Bottrell and Cameron Hall, with replies coming from Lawrence Jeffrey-Parkinson and Joe Tallent.

Ben Singleton and Tom McCrory scored as Poppleton lost 7-2 at home to Wigginton Grasshoppers, whose Harry Clapham got a hat-trick and Luke Conkleton and Joe Manship bagged a brace each.

York Cubs drew 3-3 at home with Rawcliffe. Tom Charlesworth’s double and Finn Coughlan’s strike for the hosts were neutralised by George Brown’s hat-trick.

Fulford maintained their perfect start in division two, winning 7-0 at Wheldrake thanks to two goals apiece for Harry Blackwell and Joe Chadwick, while Jon Paul Vass, James Kerr and Noah Hindle all struck.

At the other end of the table, Copmanthorpe also kept up their 100 per cent record as they lost 3-2 at York RI to Will Lane’s hat-trick. Dan Johnston and Callum Logan scored for Cop.

Rufforth won 2-1 at home to Easingwold Harriers courtesy of Kelvin Bernard’s strike and Dan Beckett's penalty, with Tom Newton replying.

Heworth lost 2-0 at Riccall, whose Yves Kombe and Luke McAllister were on target.
