DUNNINGTON continued with their quest to defend the York Minster Engineering League Reserve A title with a 5-0 defeat of bottom side Old Malton St Mary's.

Andy Rose hit a hat-tick in the win, with Tom Anderson bagging the fourth. Dan Hall's sweet 12-yard volley completed the win for the champions.

Poppleton United remain in charge of Reserve C thanks to a 10-2 drubbing of Rufforth United. Reece Holmes bagged four in the win with Kieran Blondrage (2), Will Brown (2), Niall Kirby and Shane Milne also scoring. Billy Church and Callum Langham replied.

Luke Richardson, Morgan Copley, Danny Wood and Connor Larner (2) found the net for second placed York RI in a 5-0 success over Wetherby Athletic.

Kieran Dinsdale scored for Cliffe in their 5-1 home loss to Selby Olympia.

There were goals galore at Wilberfoss with the home side going down 8-3 to Civil Service.

Declan Richardson bagged a first half hat-trick for the visitors with four goals from Carl Shepherd and a Callum Watson effort completing the Civil Service haul after the interval. Malt Shovel enjoyed a 7-4 success over Fulford.
