FORMER York City midfielder Tom Platt is an injury doubt for Harrogate Town as they welcome Tamworth to the CNG Stadium tomorrow looking to re-find form and return to the play-off zone in National League North.

The two previous meetings between Harrogate and Tamworth at the CNG ended goalless but a similar result this time is unlikely, with the visitors’ defence having conceded more goals than anyone else in the top half while their striker, Danny Newton, is the division’s second top scorer, with ten goals.

Tamworth also arrive after consecutive league wins against high-riders AFC Fylde, Darlington and Salford.

After picking up only one point in two away matches, sixth-placed Scarborough Athletic will be looking to return to winning ways as they host lowly Droylsden.

They go into the game on the back of a 1-0 North Riding County FA Senior Cup first round win over Redcar Town in midweek - Jordan Harrison getting a 66th-minute winner for the Seadogs against the Teesside League outfit.

It is Selby Town’s turn to take on a table-topping side as they go to Penistone Church in division one .

The Robins have hit the buffers in recent weeks, a goal fest victory at Brigg Town being followed by two defeats, including the 7-1 mauling last Saturday at AFC Emley, which lifted the hosts to sixth.

Staying in the play-off picture, Knaresborough Town, on the back of a seven-match unbeaten run which culminated in last week’s 6-1 win at Campion, visit Pontefract Collieries for a potentially key clash. The two sides sit fourth and fifth respectively and this clash could be a tester for both of their promotion credentials.
