YORK RI saw off Brooklyn 2-1 as both sides wrapped up their York Minster Engineering League premier division seasons.

Arran Reid and Sean Stockdale got the victors' goals.

In division one, Kieran Dinsdale gave Cliffe a first-half lead but two late goals from York St John University snatched the students a 2-1 win.

Kirkbymoorside dealt with the problem of an inferior goal difference in their challenge for the division two crown as a 10-1 win over Hamilton Panthers now means victory over Barmby Moor on Wednesday will see them pip Thorpe United to the title.

Both sides are already promoted to division one next season.

Moor Lane got the better of a nine-goal thriller with Jorvik Blades, winning 5-4. Adam Room (2), Ben Spedding and James Ford all struck for Blades in the final game of the division three campaign.

Heworth Green closed out their championship-winning season with a 6-3 win over Huntington.

Heworth, who along with The Raj FC will be promoted to division three, finished four points clear after a season-long tussle.

Howden finished third following a 5-0 win over Settrington, while Pollington secured fifth place with 4-1 home win over Crayke.

Dunnington ensured they finished five points clear in reserve 'A' with a 5-0 triumph at Riccall United. Hemingbrough United, promoted from reserve 'B', completed their games with a 4-0 win over Heslington thanks to strikes from Jamie Wheeler (2), Ricki Hutton and Rhys Cope. Poppleton United saw off reserve 'C' foes Malt Shovel 7-1. Kieran Blondrage and Charlie Jackson helped themselves to braces, Rhys Jackson also netting. These goals were overshadowed by a first goal for the club for long-serving John Dunwoody and a well-taken strike by 51-year-old veteran Charlie Jackson.
