YORK City Ladies were crowned North Riding County FA Cup winners for the first time after defeating Middlesbrough Ladies at the FA County Ground, Stokesley.
The teams cancelled each other out and finished goalless in regular time. The celebrations began after Middlesbrough missed one of their penalties and York stayed composed to score the decider.
