OLD Malton St Mary's bolstered their title hopes in the York Minster Engineering League premier division with a 4-2 win at Osbaldwick on Monday night.
Danny Fogg scored twice, and Marcus Godsell and Callum Scott also netted for Saints, for whom Scott Nicholas was man of the match.
Centre-back Tom Wheatland scored both of Osbaldwick's goals in a starring performance but was later sent off.
The result lifted Saints to third in the table, six points behind leaders Dunnington with three games in hand. Second-placed Wigginton Grasshoppers remain in the box seat, however, two points behind Dunnington with two games in hand.
