DEFENDING champions Riccall United made the most of a depleted league fixture list as their 5-1 win at Osbaldwick fired them right back into the York Minster Engineering Premier League title race.

Goals from Wayne Brook, Marcin Wolski, Ian Beckram (2) and Josh Levitt helped to continue Riccall's recent run of good for as they moved up to fourth place, just six points behind leaders Huntington Rovers.

Alex Robinson gave Dringhouses a 1-0 half-time lead at Church Fenton White Horse but the St Helen's Road side lost their nerve in the second half, going down 3-1 to a rejuvenated Fenton side.

Strikes from Andrew Targett and James Barrett, plus an own goal, gave White Horse the three points.

Philip Smith (2), Jos Tinker and Ryan Ferguson struck for Tadcaster Magnets as they gained a point from a titanic struggle with Harrison Signs. Neil Richardson (2), Danny Temple and Cameron Sanderson hit back for the visitors as both sides had to settle for a 4-4 draw.

Tockwith and Malton & Norton both missed the chance to assume pole position in division one as they played out a 2-2 draw.

Tockwith were one up at half-time and made it 2-0 shortly after the break but Brandon Read struck twice to level the scores late in the game. York St John moved out of the drop zone with a 3-0 triumph over Hemingbrough United.

The only game in division two saw Stamford Bridge upset second placed Barmby Moor. Dave Bradshaw and John Cavanagh struck for Bridge as they gained a 2-1 success. Curtis Baker grabbed Barmby Moor's consolation.

Wilberfoss made it four from four in division three, thumping South Milford 6-0 in the process. Two impressive 30-yard strikes from Kieron O'Brien and Olly Newby were the pick of the goals with Jed Vale (2), Keith Meredith and Mark Willoughby also making the score sheet.

Lewis Bootland, Chris McCluskie and Patrick Zimer found the net for leaders Moor Lane as they gained a comfortable success over a battling Jorvik Blades side.

Rufforth led courtesy of an own goal against Huby but a stoppage time effort from Jake Petty gave the visitors a 1-1 draw.

Cawood and Bubwith played out an 11 goal thriller, with the home side edging it 6-5. Goals from Jean Grenier (3), Matthew Ward (2) and Matthew Snell maintained Cawood's 100 per cent start in the division.

Heworth Green made it ten out of ten in division four, defeating Settrington 8-3 and moving 11 points clear of The Raj FC who have three games in hand. Pollington moved up to third after a 5-3 triumph at Malt Shovel.

Stuart Harrison (2), Brian Robertson, David Melville and Rob Tate collected their five-goal haul.

Tom Hilling, Chris Vessey and Liam Pearson bagged for AFC Crayke in their 3-1 win over New York WMC. Dave Kettlewell had earlier equalised for New York WMC as the sides went in 1-1 at half-time.
