MALTON & Norton moved to the top of York Minster Engineering Football League division one with a 4-1 win at Pocklington Town.
The Ryedale side took advantage of Brooklyn's 3-1 victory over previously unbeaten leaders F1 Racing, with Simon Reeves hitting a hat-trick and Kingsley Daffern also making the scoresheet.
Hosts Brooklyn worked hard for their 3-1 victory and took the lead just before half-time when Marcus Godsell punished an F1 defensive error.
As F1 pushed forward in the second period, Brooklyn were able to capitalise twice on the space that was left, firstly through Godsell and later from 16-year-old Ryan Gaughan, who scored his first league goal for the club.
Superb goalkeeping, and the crossbar and a post, kept F1 at bay before Jericho Keys finally struck a consolation goal with ten minutes remaining.
York St John University were 6-2 winners over Cliffe, whose strikes came from Tom Hogg and Dean Wood.
