HEMINGBROUGH United dumped Riccall United out of the York FA Saturday Senior Cup after a penalty shoot-out.

The sides were level at 3-3 at the end of the 90 minutes and Hemingbrough edged it 5-4 on spot kicks to reach the semi-finals.

Dunnington also reached the last four, beating hosts Wigginton Grasshoppers 3-1.

Dunnington went 1-0 up against the run of play through Josh Tattersall, but Luke Roberts pulled a goal back for Wigginton after the break.

An 18-yard strike from Jimmy Willmoth and then a third for Dunnington by Dan Andrew sealed it for the viisitors.

Old Malton St Mary’s were 1-0 up at half-time at home to holders Huntington Rovers and then cruised through the second half to earn a 5-0 victory.

Steve Baxter netted twice and he was joined on the scoresheet by player manager Darren Dunning and Dean Nuttall, while there was an own goal just before the final whistle.

The game between Dringhouses and York RI was postponed and has been rearranged for Saturday,

Matthew Wash (2), Paul Scaith and Kieran Harris ensured Haxby United cruised through to the quarter-finals of the York FA Saturday Junior Cup with a 4-0 win at home to Copmanthorpe Reserves.

Huntington Rovers Reserves were level at 2-2 in their tie at home to Bishop Wilton, but a brace apiece for Kieran Flannigan and Chris Johnson, plus one from Ali Bell, helped them to a 5-3 win.

Helperby beat Barmby Moor 4-1 with two goals from Tom Heels and strikes by Tom Gammage and Tom Orton.

Thorpe United were 3-1 winners at Tockwith, Dunnington Reserves trounced Church Fenton White Horse's second string 7-0, Kirkbymoorside won 3-1 at Bishopthorpe United and Sporting Knavesmire enjoyed a 4-2 vicotry at Ouseburn United.

In the last eight, Haxby United will host Thorpe United, Huntington Rovers Reserves travel to Dunnington Reserves and Sporting Knavesmire have a home tie against Helperby.

Kirkbymoorside await the winners of the postponed tie between Stamford Bridge and Strensall. They will try again this Saturday.
