IN-FORM Stamford Bridge inflicted Kirkbymoorside's first defeat since they joined the York Minster Engineering Football League last year.

Bridge won the division three fixture 5-2 thanks to doubles from Merv Turbine and Steve Smith, plus a Nathan Spreckley effort.

Leaders Civil Service continued their impressive run with a 5-1 triumph over Jorvik Blades.

Carl Shepherd hit a hat-trick, with James Shaw and Liam Holding also getting onto the scoresheet.

Tim Godfrey scored a last minute consolation for the Blades.

Moor Lane and South Milford shared eight goals and the points.

Chris Golding, Andrew Kenyon and Brendan Walsh combined to give Moor Lane a 3-0 half-time lead, but they found themselves level after a South Milford comeback.

Kenyon once again put the home side ahead, only for a late equaliser to split the points.

Dan Witcombe, Dan Phillips, Tom Norton, Assan Sambou, Abdou Nije and Graham Wray netted as Rufforth gained a 6-1 win over Selby RSSC.

The only game in division four saw Wheldrake win 4-1 at Melbourne.

Steven McClean, David Metcalfe and James Smith (2) were on target for Wheldrake, with Aaron Camp hitting the solitary reply.
