SELBY Town face an FA Vase replay against Stockport Sports tomorrow night after a dramatic ten-goal first qualifying round tie.

The Robins went two goals down in the opening seven minutes at Stockport, but battled back to lead 3-2 at half-time through Jamie Forrester, Ryan Robinson and Jack Binns.

A pair of penalties - one in the last minute - appeared to have ended Town’s Vase chances, but Matty Start sent the tie into extra time. Ryan O’Reilly netted with six minutes remaining in the second period of extra time, but Sports grabbed a last minute leveller.

Knaresborough Town lost 3-1 at Chester-le-Street Town, with Hiliard Serrao netting for the visitors.

Joe Lumsden scored four second-half goals for Armthorpe Welfare but Pickering Town still bagged a 5-4 away victory in the Northern Counties East League premier division.

The Pikes led 3-0 at the break thanks to strikes from Joel Ramm, Frank Belt and Billy Logan. New signing Ryan Cooper made it four before Lumsden pulled it back to 4-3, but Cooper struck again on 72 minutes, rendering Lumsden’s late fourth irrelevent.

Tadcaster Albion were 3-2 winners at home to Barton Town Old Boys thanks to goals from Josh Greening, Calum Ward and George Bissett.

Harrogate Town played out a goalless draw at Lowestoft Town in Conference North, while Harrogate Railway Athletic won 3-1 at Burscough in Evo-Stik League division one north. Lamin Colley put Rail in front and although the hosts equalised, a Nathan Cartman double sealed the win.

Scarborough Athletic are third in the table following a 2-1 home win over Prescot Cables - although they were made to wait.

Trailing at half-time, the Seadogs levelled through Gary Bradshaw on 83 minutes and Jordan Thewlis hit the winner in the last minute.
