FOUR goals in the last 13 minutes gave King William victory over Hounds in the final of the York FA Sunday Morning Senior Cup.

Hounds enjoyed the better of the early stages, forcing the best chance of the first half on 30 minutes when a Chris Jackson header was cleared off the King William line.

After the break, King William came back into the game, but they missed the chance to go ahead when players failed to connect with Luke Hall’s cross.

On 75 minutes, Hounds' Chris Jackson made a fine solo run, only to see his shot go wide of a post.

King William finally opened the scoring on 77 minutes when substitute George Bissitt rounded two players and latched on to his rebounded shot to place the ball in the net from an acute angle.

King William’s Nathan Kamara struck the Hounds bar from 25 yards following the restart, before Hounds' Ben Yorke rattled the King William crossbar.

Kamara was involved in the action again when he was brought down in the area and the resulting penalty was duly despatched by captain Dan Snaith on 84 minutes.

Once again, Hounds tried to hit back when Luke Pearse saw his close range header saved by Dan Fairclough.

Hall’s close-range header hit the Hounds crossbar and George Bissitt flicked in the rebound to put King William 3-0 up with two minutes to go.

Another penalty was awarded to King William in the 90th minute and super sub Bissitt made no mistake in securing his hat-trick and a 4-0 victory.

The trophy, sponsored by the Helmsley Group, was presented by York FA president Roy Ellwood.

Meanwhile, basement side Enterprise lost 7-5 to Station in division one of the Ian’s Cars of Barlby York Sunday Morning League.
