Players plea from Ladies

YORK Ladies Cricket Club are looking for new members of all ages to join their squad for the summer season.

The Clifton Park-based club plays in a range of competitions, from short friendly eight-a-side matches to full 40-over games.

Teams are fielded in the Sunday White Rose League and the Lady Spearmans Evening League.

The squad are currently practicing indoors at Archbishop Holgate's School on Monday. Outdoor net sessions will start after Easter at Clifton Park.
