FORMER Yorkshire and Bradford bowler Mike Bore has died aged 69.
The left-armer took 212 wickets in first-class and List A cricket for Yorkshire between 1969 and 1977 before moving to Nottinghamshire, where he won two County Championship titles in 1981 and 1987.
Bore, born in Hull, played league cricket for Bradford, among others, and took 7-9 against Bowling Old Lane to help the Park Avenue club win the Priestley Cup in 1973.
After his playing days, Bore was in charge of youth coaching at Headingley's Indoor School. He leaves wife Ann and two children, Chris and Susan.
