A LAST-WICKET stand of 43 between Glen Richmond and Nigel Durham earned York a one-wicket victory over Rotherham Town in the Solly Sports Yorkshire ECB County Premier League.
Rotherham won the toss and were bowled out for 186 in 54 overs, with Dan Woods taking 3-59, Nick Kay 2-44 and Richmond 2-32.
Top-scorer Oli Hairs was sixth man out for 71 with the score on 113 and the hosts quickly slipped to 131-8 and then 146-9 before Richmond made a crucial unbeaten 30 off 48 balls and Durham ended on nine not out.
The win moved York 19 points clear at the top of the table as they seek their seventh successive title.
