SESSAY Cricket Club’s bid to recreate their Yorkshire Tea National Village Cup success has reached the regional final stage.
The 2011 winners travel to Harome in the North Yorkshire area group three final, while Studley Royal, who beat last year’s runners-up Woodhouse Grange in their previous outing in the competition, host Sheriff Hutton Bridge in the group four final.
The winners will move on to the first national stage of the event, which sees the final played at Lord’s on September 8.
