YORKSHIRE made a superb start to their LV County Championship campaign as they beat Hampshire by an innings and 27 runs at Headingley.
The Tykes needed six wickets on the final day to wrap up victory and they bowled the visitors out for 212.
England discard Matthew Hoggard took two of the last three wickets to fall, giving him match figures of 8-97.
