Yorkshire wrap up first County Championship win

YORKSHIRE chalked up their first win of the LV= County Championship division two season as they saw off Leicestershire by an innings and 22 runs.

After being frustrated by the weather in Scarborough on day three, the Tykes eventually bowled out their visitors for 309 on the final day.

Steve Patterson took 5-77 to add to his three wickets from the first innings, while Ryan Sidebottom claimed 2-52.

Matthew Boyce provided the bulk of the Foxes' resistance with 122 at the top of the order, but Yorkshire were not to be denied.
