YORKSHIRE'S much-changed line-up need 343 to win their fourth successive Royal London Cup one-day match against Worcestershire at New Road.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore hit 118 off 119 balls at the top of the order for the Rapids, who were bowled out for 342 inside 49 overs after they had been invited to bat.

In a strange old innings, the hosts lost 6-95 to slip from 175-1 in the 27th over to 270-7 in the 43rd as they looked to have lost their way.

But home captain Joe Leach and Australian seamer John Hastings shared 67 in 5.5 overs for the eighth wicket, hitting 41 and 33 respectively.

Steve Patterson had struck three times in successive overs. Kohler-Cadmore was caught at deep mid-wicket before Patterson bowled Ross Whiteley next ball as the score fell to 256-6 in the 41st. Ben Cox was then caught at deep mid-wicket in the next.

Matthew Waite then took three wickets in the 49th over to at least ensure the hosts did not reach 350 and he finished with 4-65 from 9.5 overs.

If Yorkshire are to win, they will need to post their record List A chase, achieved against Durham on Wednesday when they reeled in 336 at Headingley.
