YORKSHIRE will take 11 points from their drawn LV= County Championship match against Sussex at Hove.
Rain has prevented any play before lunch on day four, and there will almost certainly be no play at all today.
It means, at most, Yorkshire will need a maximum of 43 points to retain the Division One title from their last four matches.
Should Middlesex lose at Durham in the ongoing clash at Emirates Durham, that would drop down to 27 points, opening up the possibility of title confirmation next week after Yorkshire’s home clash with Somerset.
