Yorkshire have been helped by the weather on day four as they bid to save their LV= County Championship match against Warwickshire at Headingley.

Rain and hail have intervened on two separate occasions this morning, with the latter stoppage coming at 12.13pm to prompt an early lunch.

Warwickshire lead by 302 runs at 170-5 in their second innings, and they have lost three wickets today, two of them going to the off-spin of James Middlebrook and the other to Tim Bresnan.

Ian Westwood fell 16 runs short of becoming the first man ever to score two hundreds in a match at this ground when he was trapped lbw by Middlebrook, who also had Pete McKay stumped.

Earlier, Bresnan trapped Laurie Evans lbw. Sam Hain and Rikki Clarke are the not out batsmen.
