ADAM LYTH has signed a three-year contract extension to stay at Yorkshire until at least December 2018.
The England Lions left-handed opener scored 1,489 LV= County Championship runs in last season's title success, and he said: "I am delighted to be committing my long-term future to Yorkshire.
"It has been an incredible year for me, and I just want to keep on improving. I dream of winning trophies for Yorkshire, and after winning the Championship, I firmly believe this will be the first of many."
The Lions take on South Africa 'A' in the second match of their one-day series at the Diamond Oval in Kimberley tomorrow.
Lyth sat out the opening four-wicket win on Sunday.
