Senior Cricket League celebrations go global

THE centenary celebrations of the Hunters York & District Senior Cricket League have become worldwide thanks to Hornsea Cricket Club’s Lance Corporal Craig Richtering.

He is pictured with the League’s centenary handbook and tie which he took with him on his tour of duty to Afghanistan.

Richtering serves in the 42nd Engineer Regiment, which is based in Hellmand province.
